Here’s what a few locals had to say about the magazine:“Hello STAFF. especially creator editor publisher.
This looks amazing! picked up my first copy ever at Lou's today.
I have been in touch with the SD Music scene for over 20 years. I used
to do Loudspeaker on 91X (8 years - late 80’s thru '96)
I helped bands from San Diego get noticed and get signed
I even signed a couple myself.
I love what you are doing!”
-Lou Niles“I just read the first issue of SDMusicMatters, which I picked up at a local music store, and I must say, BRAVO. It’s great to see the care and support for the San Diego/Local musicians and music scene. I enjoyed reading and browsing through it, and imagine you will continue to grow and establish yourselves as a reliable resource for the Local Music scene... I wish you the best of luck, and I think you’re off to a good start. There’s plenty to cover around here, and I bet it’s fun and rewarding for you to do such an enterprise. Kudos to all of you for having the balls to make the effort.”
